Who We Are.

New Zealand Healthcare Education (NZHE) is a specialised provider of professional training and workforce development for the healthcare sector in New Zealand. Our core mission is to enhance the quality of care by equipping nurses and support staff with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to meet industry standards.

A key area of focus for NZHE is supporting Internationally Qualified Nurses (IQNs) as they transition into the New Zealand healthcare system. We provide end-to-end guidance, from arrival in the country through to successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), and beyond. Our services include exam preparation, workplace readiness training, and career support such as CV development and interview coaching, enabling IQNs to integrate effectively into the workforce.

NZHE also delivers comprehensive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes tailored for Registered Nurses and healthcare support staff working in aged care settings. Our training covers all core competencies required by national auditing standards and the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ), ensuring compliance while promoting best practice in patient care. In addition, we offer customised and advanced training modules to meet evolving industry needs and specialised care requirements.

Through targeted Workshops and Seminars, we equip healthcare professionals with practical strategies to maintain their mental and physical health, helping to build a resilient and capable workforce.

By combining regulatory-aligned education, personalised support services, and a strong focus on workforce wellbeing, NZHE is positioned as a trusted partner in advancing healthcare quality and workforce capability across New Zealand.
